Viking Sponsors 47th Annual Golf Classic for Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce

January 09, 2017 - The Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce's 47th annual Golf Classic is the city's largest single-day golf event boasting 265 golfers each year. This year, the Viking Duluth location sponsored a hole and created a game of longest ball. Game participants had to use a homemade club consisting of pvc pipe and fitting (3/4" sch 40 with a 90 on the end) and hit the ball off of a sprinkler head. Most participants were told they had to where the appropriate PPE to engage. Amazingly enough, one guy smashed it 160-yards. Viking Welcomes Olsen Fire and Total Life Security

September 05, 2016 - Viking Automatic Sprinkler Company is pleased to welcome Olsen Fire and Total Life Security to the Viking and APi Group family as of September 1, 2016.​ With operations based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Olsen Fire provides fire sprinkler design, service, installation, inspection and maintenance. Total Life Security provides monitoring, service and inspection of fire alarm systems. However, the recent string of deadly barn fires across Ontario has been a harsh reminder that we need to be putting a larger focus on protecting animals, as well. On January 4th, firefighters from several communities were called in to fight a fire at Classy Lanes Stables, a prominent horse training facility. In total, 39 standardbred horses, one thoroughbred horse, and three ponies perished in the fire. According to their GoFundMe page, the preliminary cost of the damage is estimated…
