Wounded Warrior Program

APi NSG offers a Wounded Warrior Development Program. This program was created to help wounded veterans prepare for a civilian career as a specialty construction project manager and ease the transition into civilian employment. The program is structured, but is designed to be flexible to meet the needs of the participants. The duration of the program may be altered by an accepted employment offer from the company during the rotation process and career preferences (designer, sales, etc.) identified during the rotation process may be added to a modified development program to support the preference of the applicant.

The best qualified wounded veteran applicants will be selected to participate in this Wounded Warrior Development Program. Formal educational and certification opportunities will be made available to accepted applicants to further their knowledge of the specialty construction industry. During the process, applicants will learn fundamental skills that will prepare them to perform as a specialty construction project manager for APi Group.

Applicants will then complete a developmental rotation program experiencing diverse specialty construction industries in up to three different APi Group locations. This developmental rotation program lasts for 12 months. Once the entire program has been completed, qualified applicants will received employment placement at one of APi Group's United States operating facilities.

It is likely that applicants will not be required to perform in a full project manager's role immediately upon completion of the program. Additional experience in the field will be needed before complete project management responsibility is offered to most program participants. Rotations will be conducted in the Minneapolis / St, Paul, MN area. Relocation to the MSP area for the duration of the development program is a requirement. Veterans will have input as to their permanent employment placement at the completion of the program.
